Fear

What is fear?

According to the free dictionary on Google, the definition of "fear" is a feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or imminence of danger.

Mankind lives in fear almost every day.As we,human being, growing older and older,we began to think more complicatedly. We seen problems as disaster rather than to learn or benefit from it.The afflictions and fears overwhelmed us when problems formed. Some of us might have adequate courage to face or deal with it,but most of us chose to escape or avoiding it like an influenza instead of a good chance to gain experience. For an instance, senior citizens fear of death or sicknesses, adults fear of the financial problems whereas adolescent or teenagers fear of the examinations carried out by the school authorities.

What is the major cause of this common "illness" (fear) which infected almost every persons in this world?

The only answer is:We does not have the courage to face and deal with problems efficiently.

That is the reason why human being always survived in a threatening circumstance. We grew up and be skillful in escape from fear.

In order to overcome this kind of problems,we should try to accomplish something that we feared of.For an example, drawing a picture or portrait. The subconscious of our mind would tell us that we could not probably do that successfully. In that case,we got the message that "We could not do that." and determined to quit the task.Oppositely, what if we (our subconscious minds) tell us that "You could not possibly do that." but we keep assuring ourselves that "I can make it.",what would the task turn out to be in the end?It goes without saying that we would have accomplished the tasks successfully!Doesn't it seems like a magic?Actually it is the simplest and most effective way to avoid procrastination and overcome fear too.

Some quotations on the subject of "Fear":
The greatest barrier to success is the fear of failure.
The key to change... is to let go of fear.
Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something.

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."

Happiness

What is happiness?

According to the English dictionary, happiness is a state of feeling contented and pleasured.

In my opinion, happiness is easy to be found. In another words,it could be found almost anywhere as long as we think positively. For an instance, having meals with family and friends, helping others who are in needs, jogging, reading a good book, listen to music,or even lying on bed idly and so forth.

The following quotes were collected form a self-help book:

- All the good things all around us, if you have awareness, you can be happy. -
                                         &
- Happiness is not the destination but every step of the journey creating a pleasure. -

Exactly, happiness is not difficult to possess.
Many People might think that only if they earn a lot of money, achieve a great achievement, live in a big mansion, wearing brandy clothes and jewelry as well as driving a BMW car could be considered as living in happiness or contentment. In fact,it is not true.
Here is a quote about Happiness written by Buddha:
'All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him.'
Nowadays, our lives become more and more complicated and hectic.Human beings usually do not have extra times to think and reflects their lives.Every now and then, they missed some happy moments just because of their own negatively point of view of happiness.

'Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have.'
In order to lead a happy and blissful life,we should always be appreciate and thankful for being a human being no matter what happens.Be appreciative towards our families, friends, colleagues, teachers, and so on.

'Remember, happiness doesn't depend upon who you are or what you have, it depends solely upon what you think.'-Dale Carnegie

Today is my dad's birthday. We wished him happy birthday and enjoyed a delicious dinner prepared by my mum.Even though it was a simple celebration, but we felt equally happy. It's what life meant to be.Cherish every moment of our lives,as long as we could breathe.
